Footwear

Being experts of the foot we are well informed on current models and brand models of various footwear types, including school shoes, runners and specialised sport footwear. Footwear plays an important role in children’s feet, they provide a stable base for their feet to develop comfortably and wearing the correct footwear can prevent many foot complaints.

Kid’s podiatry also offers a complimentary shoe fit check. If you give our administration staff a call, they will organise a time for you to pop in with your child to check their shoe fit.

On a side note, here at Kid’s Podiatry we strongly advise against “hand-me-down” footwear. Footwear moulds to the wearer and if worn by another child, can alter foot pressures and mechanics causing pain and injury.
